The School Education Department on Wednesday approved Rs 28.11 crore to construct new buildings for 50 government higher secondary schools of the state. Each building will be constructed at the cost of Rs 56.22 lakh. The School Education Minister Brijmohan Agrawal said the government provides fund to construct new buildings for primary, middle, high and higher secondary schools every year to ensure the students may not face inconvenience. This year too, fifty schools have been selected on the basis of existing infrastructure in schools. The schools have been picked from eight different districts. The minister has asked the officials to complete the project of constructing new buildings timely.
