This year Rajyotsav-2011 would be organised at Science College from November 1 to 5. During this state festival, the government is planning to show trailers of historical Chhattisgarhi movies.
The proposed plan was discussed in a review meeting of Rajyotsav-2011convened by Additional Chief Secretary (Forest) Narayan Singh on Monday.
The meeting was attended by senior officials of different departments who produced updated reports of their assigned jobs for Rajyotsav-2011. During the meeting, Singh directed the officials of the Public Health Engineering (PHE) to instantly make arrangements of drinking water at festival ground.
In the meeting, the officials also discussed about the theme of Rajyotsav-2011 besides traffic and parking arrangements, food zone, shilp gram, etc. The exhibition on achievements of different departments would be organised by the DPR.
Singh said the next review meeting of Rajyotsav-2011 would be organised at festival ground on October 14.
The meeting was attended by Secretary Tourism and Culture Subrat Sahu, Secretary Gramodyog P Ramesh, CSIDC Managing Director Devendra Singh, Additional Director DPR Umesh Dwivedi along with officials of PHE, Forest and other departments.
