A delegation of farmers led by state president of Samajwadi Party (SP) Rifat Ulla Khan and comprising other SP leaders would meet Governor Shekhar Dutt on Tuesday (October 18) and submit him a memorandum regarding problems of farm labourers. The SP’s state vice president KK Verma informed that the party had postponed the proposed rally in favour of farm labourers on Tuesday considering their hectic schedule in fields. The rally will now be taken out after Diwali, Verma said.
