Congress on Friday asked Chief Minister Raman Singh to clarify his stand on phone tapping charges against him. “The allegation has been levelled by senior BJP leader and parliamentarian Ramesh Bais. This is serious matter and the CM should come clean out of it by giving explanation to the public,” said Congress general secretary Bhupesh Baghel.
“The CM seemed besieged by the corruption charges and increasing resistance against him in the state as well as in his own party and hence he is using the undemocratic method like phone tapping to fetch information about his opponents,” Baghel charged.
