Jobs assigned to Cong leaders for training camp


Raipur, May 09, 2012

With party deciding to organise three-day state-level training camp at Rajkumar College (RKC) from May 16-18, PCC president Nandkumar Patel has assigned responsibilities to the senior leaders. In this connection, he convened a meeting of party office-bearers and other leaders at RKC on Wednesday.
Notably, AICC treasurer Motilal Vora will inaugurate training camp on May 16 and the party’s national general secretary Rahul Gandhi will be the chief guest of concluding ceremony on May 18.
Therefore, while the party vice president TS Singhdeo will be convenor of the training camp, all the activities including decoration of the camp venue will be handled by Subhash Sharma and Amit Pandey.
The responsibility to decorate the capital city has been given to DCC Raipur Urban president Inderchand Dhariwal, DCC Raipur Rural president Pankaj Sharma and Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC) mayor Kiranmayi Nayak.
The arrangement of meals will be done by Subhash Dhuppad and Vaibhav Mishra while Arun Singhania and Gajraj Pagaria will arrange accommodation for the guests and participants.
After meeting, Patel inspected the spot which has been fixed for different delegations to submit memorandums to Gandhi.
On the occasion, PCC treasurer Ramgopal Agrawal, MLAs - TS Singhdeo, Kawasi Lakhma, Gurmukh Singh Hora, Dr Premsai Singh, RMC mayor Kiranmayi Nayak, PCC general secretary Bhupesh Baghel, Inderchand Dhariwal, Pankaj Sharma, Subhash Dhuppad, Gajraj Pagaria, party secretaries – Anjay Shukla, Shivsingh Thakur, media coordinators – RP Singh, Dr Chouleshwar Chandrakar and Vaibhav Mishra were present.
Meanwhile considering arrival of Rahul Gandhi who will also attend NSUI conference, the organisation’s national president Rohit Yadav had recently summoned NSUI state president Devendra Yadav and vice president Subodh Haritwal at New Delhi. According to information, Rohit is severely upset with factionalism in state NSUI and has sternly asked the duo to unite the organisation and raise all the issues jointly. He has reportedly given a target to the duo to bring at least 5000 NSUI members in the conference.
