Cong VS-level rally, court arrest at Patan on May 13

Congress will organise Vidhan Sabha-level public rally and stage court arrest under its vada nibhao abhiyan (VNA) at Patan on May 13, 2012. The chief PCC spokesperson Shailesh Nitin Trivedi informed that the programmes under VNA in other VS constituencies would soon be announced taking approval from state unit president Nandkumar Patel.
Notably, after its successful vada nibhao fortnight form April 16-30, the Congress decided to continue its movements under VNA till 2013 Assembly elections.
In this connection, the party staged dharna and court arrest at Nehru chowk Bilaspur district on Wednesday. Trivedi informed that about 3760 workers staged court arrest on the occasion.
Similarly, on the first day of the VNA, i.e. May 1, the party had staged dharna and court arrest in 70 Assembly areas.
