Demanding bonus marks against erroneous and Uttar Pradesh-related questions in Public service Commission (PSC) exam, the NSUI members demonstrated before the PSC office and staged court arrest on Tuesday.
The NSUI members sloganeered against commission chairman Pradeep Joshi alleging that he deliberately put the Uttar Pradesh-related questions in the PSC exams.
The NSUI state president Devendra Yadav said the organisation would launch statewide offensive against Joshi if he would not announce bonus marks. “Why should the candidates suffer when the mistake has been deliberately committed by the PSC chairman,” asked Yadav.
“The Raman Singh government should apologise to the students and announce that it cannot conduct PSC exams successfully,” said the NSUI national delegate and Raipur district incharge Nikhil Dwivedi.
“The PSC habitually commits mistake. Even earlier, we have termed the Chhattisgarh PSC as Uttar Pradesh PSC,” he added.
“If Joshi is inclined towards Uttar Pradesh and unable to think about the welfare of Chhattisgarh students then he should leave the state,” said NSUI Raipur district vice presidents Akash Sharma and Bhavesh Shukla.
On the occasion, Amit Sharma, Karan Sharma, Abhay Thakur, Akash Choubey, Deepak Soni, Nihal Khan, Rohit Saxena, Ashutosh Tiwari, Chandan Barik, Bittu Tiwari, Ashu Pandey, Atul Dubey, etc.
