Bais jandarshan a govt saving ploy: Congress

Raipur, August 06, 2012

Congress has termed the jandarshan organised by senior BJP leader and Raipur parliamentarian Ramesh Bais as mere ploy to hide tainted image of his party’s government.
“Ironically, Bais took eight years to understand state government’s works. A day’s jandarshan must have been an eye opener for him and he would have realised that even the smallest works of a common man remains unaddressed under BJP regime,” said Congress spokesperson Sushil Anand Shukla.
“Bais, being a senior BJP leader, could have played greater role in making a change in the system by raising his voice in the party forum but instead he is making scapegoat to the officials by using elusive words like dominance of babudom or administrative terrorism to save the government,” he said.
“Bais must be aware that the entire administrative system has been collapsed and Chief Minister Raman Singh and his Cabinet ministers are responsible for it. However, he is making failed attempt to create feelgood factor among the people by organising jandarshan,” he added.
Terming the government’s jandarshan programmes ineffective he said even the CM refrain from meeting people to solve their problems and hence he only pretends to be sensitive about jandarshan.
Claiming that the number of cancelled and postponed jandarshan programmes were more than the organised ones he demanded that the government should disclose such figures.
