The members of Youth Congress (YC) led by Akash Tiwari distributed 200 saplings at Shaheed Bhagat Singh chowk in Shankar Nagar on the eve of Independence Day on Tuesday.
On the occasion, Raipur North legislator Kuldeep Singh Juneja was also present. Later Tiwari informed that the YC distributed saplings with an aim to convey message to the people to protect and conserve environment through plantation and prevent different types of pollution.
The YC members present on the occasion were Sharad Shukla, Sattu Singh, Pranav Shukla, Yatendra Singh Tomar, Amitesh, Yash Gujar, Rajat Chhabda, Upendra Singh Sengar, Kanwaljeet Singh Juneja, Ashraf Khan, Vijay Sharma, Harshit Jaiswal, Gaurav Mandhani, Sunil Bhuwal, etc.
