Congress has asked the government to instantly lodge case against guilty officials for harassing sub engineer Kishor Sharma who eventually ended his life.
“The government must suspend SDO Gopal Memon and sub engineer KR Sahu with an immediate effect for harassing Sharma,” said PCC secretary Dr Shivnarayan Dwivedi, Yogendra Sharma and Ravindra Mishra on Friday.
They said that Sharma’s suicide note clarifies that he had held the two officials responsible for his self-killing step.
“Many more honest officials and employees have ended their life due to harassment by their seniors during BJP regime but no action has been taken against the guilty ones by far,” they alleged.
