The new website of Chhattisgarh Sikh community has been was launched at station road-based hotel at 4 pm on August 26. The website will regularly update community’s activities and provide information about upcoming events.
The society’s spokespersons Mahendra Chhabda and Surendra Singh Chhabda informed that the detailed information of community’s office-bearers could also be fetched in the website.
Besides, the website has a matrimonial page for the community’s marriageable boys and girls. The spokespersons duo informed that over 250 applications for registration in Sikh matrimonial were received on the launching date of the website. The matrimonial registration is being done free-of-cost, they added.
After launching programme, oath-taking ceremony of newly appointed office-bearers of society’s youth wing was held. Thereafter, the senior office-bearers felicitated youngsters of the society who have recently become chartered accountant (CA).
On the occasion were present the society’s patron and MLA Kuldeep Singh Juneja, Besides, Jagjeet Singh Khanuja, Ajinder Singh Chawla, Satpal Singh Gandhi, Diler Singh Hora, Gurucharan Singh Hora, Gurubaksh Singh Chhabda, Surendra Singh Khanuja, Mahendra Singh Chawla, Raghubeer Singh Chhabda, Mahendra Singh Saluja, Manmeet Singh Saluja, Manwinder Gandhi, Harjeet Juneja, etc.
