Raipur, August 18, 2012

After holding day-long workers’ training camp at Dalli Rajhara under Daundilohara Vidhan Sabha area, the Congress will now hold four VS-level training camps in Kanker, Keshkal, Masturi and Balodabazar on August 22, 23, 29 and 30 respectively.
Earlier, the party had planned to hold training camp in Akaltara VS area on August 29 but now the venue has been shifted to Masturi Assembly area, informed chief PCC spokesperson Shailesh Nitin Trivedi.
In past two months, the party has organised two divisional-level training camps at Jagdalpur (Bastar) on June 29 and 30 and Ambikapur (Sarguja) on July 25 and 26. The party aims to complete its VS-level training camps by December 2012.
While the basic objective of the camp will be to make the participants conversant with the party’s history and policies, the senior leaders will also take the opportunity to give pep talks to the workers regarding preparation for 2013 and 2014 polls.
The party leadership will further appeal to the participants to intensify movements against the government from booth to district level besides publicising Centrally-sponsored schemes being implemented in the state.
