Protesting Pt Ravishankar Shukla University’s (RSU) decision to conduct PGDCA exams only in English medium, the NSUI members on Tuesday gheraoed the administrative block of the varsity and sloganeered against vice chancellor Professor SK Pandey terming him against national language Hindi.
“This is injustice to several students who prefer Hindi medium to appear in PGDCA exams,” said the NSUI leader Gulzeb Ahmed.
The varsity registrar KK Chandrakar, however, assured the NSUI activists that PGDCA exams would be conducted both in English as well as Hindi mediums in coming years.
“Chandrakar further assured that even if the varsity would make any change in the PGDCA exam conduction pattern, it will inform the through notification before commencement of next academic session,” Ahmed said.
On the occasion, Ahmed was accompanied by Ajay Pal, Shahbaz Hussein, Kalam Khan, Nadeem Salat, Ashish Ghosh, Sheikh Quasif, Ayush Agrawal, Shashikant Barore, Shubham Singh, etc.
