The Youth Congress (YC) on Friday launched signature campaign for installation of traffic signal at BTI chowk. On the occasion, Raipur North legislator from Congress Kuldeep Singh Juneja was also present.
The YC leader Amitesh Bhardwaj informed that the locals had been demanding traffic signal at BTI chowk for long time due to increased volume of vehicle flow in the area.
“The BTI chowk has become accident-prone area in the absence of no traffic signal. The traffic police have not even pressed a constable there to control the traffic,” Bhardwaj added.
He informed that large number of locals and passers-by had supported their campaign and hopes that the police too would take steps to improve traffic system at BTI chowk.
The Congmen present on the occasion were Sanjay Pathak, Chandrawati Sahu, Thakur Ram Sahu, Ajanta Kaviraj, Satish Jain, Sunil Bhuwal, Sanjay Soni, Saket Vaidya, Sunil Chatwani, Amit Kausaria, Chand Kumar Dodwani, Amar Kurre, etc.
