The pharmacists will take out India Pharmacist Revolution yatra (IPR
yatra) under the banner of their national organisation Udyog Development
Foundation (UDF) in every state capital of the country in 2013.
In this
connection, the UDF has appointed Chhattisgarh Pharmacist Association’s (CPA)
president Ashwini Gurdekar as national coordinator of IPR yatra.
The CPA’s
state coordinator Premeshwar Dewangan and joint secretary Harshankar Sahu
informed that the objective of IPR yatra is to create awareness common man and
policy makers about the role of pharmacists and unite pharma professionals.
Under
IPR yatra, the UDF representatives will reach every state capital and bring
national and state-level issues of pharmacists before public through media, the
duo said.
