Congress on Tuesday slammed Chhattisgarh state scheduled tribe
commission’s (CSSTC) chairman Devlal Dugga for sacrificing cow at his native
village Khadka under Narayanpur district recently. “Dugga’s detestable act has
exposed BJP’s ugly face. It is really unfortunate that the party, which plays
politics over Hinduism, has people like Dugga,” said Congress spokesperson
Sushil Anand Shukla.
“Dugga
sacrificed cow despite villagers’ protest. Sacrificing animals is ban in the
village Khadka for the past several years. Infuriated by Dugga’s persistence,
the villagers have lodged report against Dugga,” said Shukla.
He
further said the chief minister should immediately sack Dugga from CSSTC and issue
orders for his arrest.
