Congress has constituted a five-member committee headed by PCC vice
president and MLA Kawasi Lakhma to probe into gangrape and murder of a tribal
woman in forests of Lankapara under Bhairamgarh development block (Bijapur
district).
The other members of the panel are DCC Bijapur president Ajay Singh,
PCC general secretary and Bastar Lok Sabha incharge Fulodevi Netam, Bijapur
district panchayat president Neena Ravatia and member secretary Bijapur district
panchayat Prabhat Jha.
State Congress president Nandkumar Patel has asked the
panel members to quickly visit the incidental area and prepare comprehensive
report on gangrape and murder of the tribal woman.
