Chhattisgarh Association of Physiotherapists (CAP) says that it is hopeful of inclusion of its three-pronged demand in state budget. “We expect that the government will make announcement about it in upcoming budget session at state assembly,” said CAP president Dr Virendra Ganjeer on Thursday.
He informed that the CAP called off its 22-day agitation in November-December 2012 when chief minister and health minister had assured of including its demands in state budget.
The CAP’s three demands are – constitution of separate physio council in state, provision of government jobs for physiotherapists and proper operation of physiotherapy course.
