Senior Congress MLA Ajit Jogi on Thursday said that liquor business was flourishing in state under BJP regime.
“The government’s deaddiction campaign is sheer deception. Contrarily, liquor consumption rate increased with the launch of deaddiction drive,” he said.
He alleged that the ruling party was protecting liquor mafias to generate funds from them in the upcoming assembly and general elections.
He also slammed the ruling party for making Mahatma Gandhi a brand ambassador of deaddiction drive.
“The government is mentally bankrupt and deliberately insulting Gandhi,” he said.
