Cong’s three manthan camps in Korba LS area



Raipur, January 22, 2013

Congress will organise three manthan camps in Korba Lok Sabha area in Bharatpur-Sonhat, Manendragarh and Rampur assembly constituencies on January 28, 29 and 30 respectively.

The Congress spokesperson Mahendra Chhabda informed that manthan camp in Bharatpur-Sonhat Vidhan Sabha area will be organised in Kelhari, Manendragarh VS area in Chirmiri and Rampur VS area in Lonbirra.

All the three camps will be attended by AICC general secretary and state Congress incharge BK Hariprasada, AICC secretary and state unit secretary incharge Bhakt Charandas, union minister of state for agriculture and food processing industry Charandas Mahant, PCC president Nandkumar Patel, CLP leader Ravindra Choubey, members of state Congress coordination committee and other senior party leaders.

In manthan camps, the senior leaders impart training to selected booth-level workers (five from each booth) of the assembly constituency. Besides, the office-bearers of DCC, BCCs and different cells and morchas and party public representatives under the VS area also participate in the camp. 

The objective of Congress manthan camp is to make the workers acquainted with party’s history and policies. By far, over 15000 booth-level workers of different assembly constituencies have taken training in manthan camps. 

Through manthan camps, the senior party leaders infuse new energy in workers to intensify their preparation upcoming assembly polls in 2013 end and general elections to be held 2014.

The senior leaders also encourage the workers to launch attack on government at block-level on local as well as burning issues.
