Exam for assistant managers on Feb 10


Over 28000 candidates to fight for 75 posts

Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB) will organise exam for 75 posts of assistant manager (for state’s industries department) on February 10. According to information, about 28754 candidates will appear in this exam.

The board chairman K Subramaniam convened a meeting to review preparations of the exam on Thursday.

In the meeting, the exam controller Dr Pradeep Choubey informed that the board had made adequate arrangements for exam. For smooth conduction of exam, the CPEB has also written letters to district collectors and SPs. The invigilators will take thumb impression of the candidates in the exam halls. Besides, the board will do video recording of exams halls.

Choubey further informed that admit cards had been sent through post to the candidates. In addition, the admit cards have been uploaded in CPEB’s official website. Choubey said the candidates who did not get their admit card could obtain it from the website.

The number of candidates appearing in exam from different districts is – Raipur – 6554, Bilaspur – 5663, Durg – 3326, Ambikapur – 1606, Baikunthpur – 375, Dantewada – 379, Dhamtari – 933, Jagdalpur – 1432, Janjgir-Champa – 1000, Jashpur – 468, Kanker – 1200, Kabeerdham – 733, Korba – 1382, Mahasamund – 1043, Raigarh – 1430 and Rajnandgaon – 1230.

The board has made 68 exam centres in different parts of the state. The exam will be conducted at morning from 9-11:15 am.

At Raipur, there will be 18 exam centres at – Government Science College, RD Tiwari School, Saraswati Girls’ School Phool chowk, Nivedita Girls’ School, Durga College, Vaman Rao Lakhe School, Madhav Rao Sapre School, Nutan Higher Secondary School, PG Umathe Girls’ School, Saraswati Shishu Mandir Devendra Nagar, Deshbandhu English Medium School, Holy Cross Senior Secondary School, Rashtriya Vidyalaya, Model English Medium School, Adarsh Vidyalaya Devendra Nagar, JR Naidu School Telibandha, Laxminarayan Girls’ School Kalibadi and Mahaveer School Gudhiyari.

The meeting was attended by joint exam controller NS Suryanarayan, board secretary BP Chakradhar and coordinators & nodal offices of 16 districts.
