Congress spokesperson Rajesh Bissa on Monday said government’s apathy
towards Shikshakarmis was objectionable as condemnable.
“Chief minister Raman
Singh was expected to show generosity towards Shikshakarmis by accepting their
demands and announcing reinstatement of the terminated ones on January 26 but
nothing happened,” said Bissa.
“Earlier, the Shikshakarmis called off their
strike considering studies being affected in schools. The government too should
have shown similar gesture and given relief to the Shikshakarmis on Republic
Day,” he said.
