Chhattisgarh Class Three Government Employees’ Association (CCTGEA) on Tuesday informed that the government employees would be on nationwide strike on February 20 and 21, 2013.
The CCTGEA state general secretary Anil Shrivastava and divisional president Chandrashekhar Tiwari informed that over 2.50 lakh government employees from state are likely to participate in the strike.
The association has submitted a notice in this regard to chief secretary Sunil Kumar on Tuesday, the duo said.
On February 20, the state government employees would not only participate in the strike but also demonstrate at district and block levels and submit memorandums to the local authorities on the name of chief minister and prime minister.
On February 21, the association’s state, district and block office-bearers will demonstrate at Raipur and submit memorandums on the name of CM and PM.
