Govt committed to promote industrial sector: Munat

Industries minister Rajesh Munat says that the government is committed to promote industrial sector by providing all requisite facilities to it. Munat’s assurance came while he was talking to a delegation of 25 industrialists from Raipur and Bilaspur at Udyog Bhawan on Friday. 
 
He said the government’s priority was to promptly address problems of industries for rapid development of industrial sector. 

“The state government is providing several facilities to new entrepreneurs under its industrial policy 2009-2014. The government is not only offering rebates in entry tax, commercial tax and electricity duty but also providing capital investment grants,” he added.

He said the government aimed to create ample job opportunities for youth through rapid industrial growth. He instructed the officials to address the problems of industrialists in seven days. 

On the occasion were secretary commerce and industries Dinesh Shrivastava, director industries S Prakash, Chhattisgarh state industrial development corporation managing director Devendra Singh, Chhattisgarh environmental conservation board secretary P Narsingh Rao and other senior officials of industries department.

The industrialists delegation was comprised of representatives from Sarda Energy Limited Siltara, Godawari Ispat Siltara, Bajrang Power and Ispat Borjhara, SKS Ispat Siltara, Arti Sponge and Power Raipur, Vandana Steel and Power Raipur, Hira Power and Steel Raipur, UltraTech Cement Limited Balodabazar, Lafarge Cement Balodabazar, Ambuja Cement Balodabazar, Topworth Limited Rasmada (Durg), ACC Cement Jamul (Durg), JP Cement Bhilai, Bharat Aluminium Company Korba, Lanco Amarkantak Power Limited Korba, Prakash Industries Champa, Crest Steel and Power Limited Rajnandgaon, Jindal Steel and Power Limited Raigarh, etc.
