Raipur, February 09, 2013

In this connection, Chhattisgarh BJP incharge Jagat Prakash Nadda convened a significant meeting of party’s Raipur urban unit at Ekatma Parisar on Saturday and exhorted workers to gear up to welcome Singh.

He said arrival of leader of opposition at Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj and leader of opposition at Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitely in Raipur to attend the youth summit ahead of assembly polls would be crucial for the party as the duo’s presence would infuse new energy among the workers.

Notably, Swaraj will inaugurate the youth summit on Febraury 11 while Jaitely will arrive along with Rajnath Singh on Febraury 13.

Nadda said although the BJP government had performed well in the past nine years but was still short of its set target. He, however, said the party would deal all the challenges ahead and come to power for the third time.

The meeting was attended by party’s organisational general secretary Rampratap Singh, Gaurishankar Agrawal, Sachhidanand Upasane, Shivratan Sharma, Shyamsundar Agrawal, state industry and housing minister Rajesh Munat, BJP Raipur Urban president Ashok Pandey, etc.
