The BJPians are ready to accord grand welcome to their national
president Rajnath Singh who will arrive in the state capital to attend
concluding day programme of BJYM’s three-day yuwa adhiveshan (youth summit) at
Naya Raipur on Febraury 13.
In this connection, Chhattisgarh BJP incharge Jagat
Prakash Nadda convened a significant meeting of party’s Raipur urban unit at Ekatma Parisar on
Saturday and exhorted workers to gear up to welcome Singh.
He said arrival of leader of opposition at Lok Sabha
Sushma Swaraj and leader of opposition at Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitely in Raipur to attend the youth
summit ahead of assembly polls would be crucial for the party as the duo’s
presence would infuse new energy among the workers.
Notably, Swaraj will inaugurate the youth summit on
Febraury 11 while Jaitely will arrive along with Rajnath Singh on Febraury 13.
Nadda said although the BJP government had performed
well in the past nine years but was still short of its set target. He, however,
said the party would deal all the challenges ahead and come to power for the
third time.
The meeting was attended by party’s organisational
general secretary Rampratap Singh, Gaurishankar Agrawal, Sachhidanand Upasane,
Shivratan Sharma, Shyamsundar Agrawal, state industry and housing minister
Rajesh Munat, BJP Raipur Urban president Ashok Pandey, etc.
