Raipur, January 31, 2013
Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi is
expected to arrive in state capital on February 6 to participate in NSUI’s
padyatra in protest of Kanker rape incident.
While the state Congress and the NSUI
officially say that Gandhi’s Raipur itinerary had not yet been fixed, the
sources confirm that he is likely to lead the NSUI padyatra from Devpuri to
Raipur.
The NSUI commenced its padyatra from
Kanker and will conclude by submitting memorandum to Governor Shekhar Dutt on
February 6.
