Tribals upset with BJP govt: Jogi

Raipur, January 23, 2013

Senior Congress legislator Ajit Jogi on Wednesday said the tribals were severely upset with BJP government’s indifferent attitude towards them and would express their angst by not voting the ruling party contenders in upcoming assembly polls.

“The government remains impassive towards Kanker rape victims. Neither chief minister Raman Singh, nor any other state minister has visited village Jhaliyamari (Kanker) to meet rape victims. The tribals have realised that the government used them as bonded voters and hence they have made a mindset to dethrone it in next Vidhan Sabha elections,” Jogi said.
