Bajaj exhorts Sindhi youth to join politics

Politics is the only field where state’s Sindhi community lacks adequate representation. This is high time for Sindhi youth to come forward and join politics to serve the community, state and country. The words were expressed by BJP IT cell’s co-convenor and Bharatiya Sindhu Sabha’s (BSS) state general secretary Prakash Bajaj during recently held first state executive meeting of BSS at Raipur.

He said besides politics, Sindhi youth should also join administrative services to serve the nation.

The BSS state vice president Roopchand Bhimnani (from Rajnandgaon) too felt that Sindhi community needed to increase its presence in politics. In addition, he gave inputs to propagate Sindhi language through various modes.

Earlier, the BSS state president Dr KJ Lal appealed to the members to join hands to make efforts for development of Sindhi community.

The meeting was also addressed by ex-president of Sindhi Sahitya Academy Dr P Godheja, senior BSS member Asudram Vadhwani, BSS state vice president Puran Chabariya and BSS state women’s wing president Sunita Teerthani.

The meeting was attended by BSS executive members from Raipur, Durg, Bhilai, Rajnandgaon, Tilda, Bhatapara, Bilaspur, Pendra and Dhamtari.
