Alleging that the government was deceiving people on the name of Food Security Act and stalling its implementation at practical footing, the YC members burnt chief minister Raman Singh’s effigy at Budhapara-based dharna spot on Monday.
The YC’s Raipur North assembly president Sheikh Mushir said the CM should tell people when the Act would come out of papers. “The CM claims that the Act would benefit 35 lakh families of Chhattisgarh but why nobody has been benefited by it so far,” he asked.
On the occasion, DCC Raipur Urban president Vikas Upadhyay, Mohammad Azhar, Mohammad Ismail, Amar Kurre, Hira Nagarchi, Utkarsh Anand, Hemant Sahu, Kamran Ansari, etc were present.
