Cong’s remove BJP, save CG drive begins today

Raipur, August 08, 2013 

Congress will commence its BJP hatao, Chhattisgarh bachao (remove BJP, save Chhattisgarh) campaign by organising division-level conference at noon in State High School Rajnandgaon on Friday. On the same day, the party will organise day-long dharna under the drive in its district headquarters.

The conference will be attended by Chhattisgarh Congress incharge BK Hariprasada, PCC president Charandas Mahant, CLP leader Ravindra Choubey, party’s programme coordinator Bhupesh Baghel and other leaders besides party office-bearers from Rajnandgaon, Durg, Balod and Kawardha district units.

During conference, the party will also felicitate those Congmen who, under the leadership of late Vidya Charan Shukla, struggled for constitution of Chhattisgarh state. 

Hariprasada arrives

Chhattisgarh Congress incharge BK Hariprasada reached Raipur from New Delhi at evening on Thursday to participate in division-level conference under Congress’ BJP hatao, Chhattisgarh bachao (remove BJP, save Chhattisgarh) campaign at Rajnandgaon on August 9. He was welcomed by PCC president Charandas Mahant, spokesperson Ghanshyam Raju Tiwari, Amit Pandey, Murari Gaur and others at Mana-based Swami Vivekanand airport. After attending Rajnandgaon’s conference, he will return to New Delhi on Friday evening.
