DCC Raipur Urban president Vikas Upadhyay held meeting of BCC
presidents at noon in Congress Bhawan on Tuesday.
In the meeting, he directed the block heads to ensure
participation of workers in party’s BJP hatao, Chhattisgarh bachao (remove BJP,
save Chhattisgarh) campaign.
For this, he said comprehensive strategy should be
framed at block-level. In this connection, the BCC heads will convene meeting
of block office-bearers of their respective areas on August 16.
Upadhyay further asked block chiefs to launch ‘ward
chalo campaign’ in Raipur
The meeting was attended by PCC general secretaries
Subhash Sharma and Sanjay Pathak, BCC Gudhiyari president Ghanshyam Raju
Tiwari, Tatibandh block chief Avtar Singh Saini, Purani Basti block head Rajesh
Singh Thakur, BCC Civil Lines president Harish Dhotre and Sadar Bazar block
head Mamta Rai.
