Congress on Monday asked government to blacklist Shubham Kala Avum Shikshan Sansthaan (SKSS) for organising obscene party in Raipur on pretext of fund collection for Uttarakhand flood victims.
“This is the second time SKSS has organised obscene party in the capital city. Earlier, it had held similar party in a Shankar Nagar-based hotel on pretext of deaddiction campaign. Ironically, liquor and drugs were served in that party, however no action was taken against the organisation,” pointed Congress spokesperson Sushil Anand Shukla.
“No organisation or NGO can hold obscene parties on pretext of deaddiction unless it gets protection from the government. The SKSS director is escaping punitive action due to her high-level connections in the government. It is high time the government discloses such links,” demanded Shukla.
“Moreover, the SKSS is conducting deaddiction drives as a non-governmental organisation (NGO) and is approved by Chhattisgarh government. Interestingly, it is organising its drives with collaboration of women and child health department, social welfare department and Chhattisgarh beverage corporation. Let the government revoke registration of SKSS and blacklist it,” he elaborated.
