Demands action against Rungta Engineering College for deceiving students
The NSUI on Tuesday gheraoed technical directorate and demanded action against Rungta Engineering College for deceiving students by recovering full amount against free laptops distributed by the government. In this connection, the NSUI members also submitted memorandum containing 12-point demand to director technical.
Later, the organisation’s Raipur North assembly general secretary Anis Nijami said the institute’s management was recovering Rs 39200 in four instalments of Rs 9800 each from the students to provide the laptops received from the under free distribution scheme.
He also made public the copies of receipts given by the management to students against submission of instalments for laptops.
The NSUI has demanded high-level probe into the matter. The NSUI also warned of launching offensive against the institute and technical directorate if students’ money would not be returned quickly.
On the occasion, Nijami was accompanied by Sheikh Musheer, Najim Ali, Kamran Ansari, Amar Kurre, Vipul Choubey, Hafeez Khan, Hameed Raza, etc.
