State Sindhi community celebrates jyoti snan parv

About 1000 devotees from Chhattisgarh’s Sindhi community celebrated jyoti snan parv at Datiya (Madhya Pradesh) recently. The festival was attended by spiritual gurus of Sindhi community from different parts of the country. 

The BJP IT cell’s co-convenor and state general secretary of Bharatiya Sindhu Sabha Prakash Bajaj, who too represented Chhattisgarh Sindhi community in Datiya, informed that devotees Raipur, Bilaspur, Durg and Rajnandgaon were part of the massive group that offered prayers to akhand jyoti of Jhulelal Sai which has become prominent pilgrimage in past 150 years.

He said it was blessings of saints and gurus that helped Sindhi community to progress socio-economically.

The prominent saints who attended Datiya festival were Chanduram Saheb from Lucknow, Amma Cholewali from Raipur, Sadhvi Lal Sai from Ahmedabad, Sant Lal Sai from Chakarbhatha (Bilaspur), etc.

Besides Bajaj, the devotees from Chhattisgarh were Suresh Mirghani, Leelaram Bhojwani, Roopchand Bhimnani Manumal Prithwani, Raju Tarwani, Raja Daswani, Jalkumar Masand Ashok Wadhwani, Daulat Ramchandani, Vijay Ramchandani, etc.
