Congress on Thursday alleged that BJP government was compelling officials to raise election fund. Linking Raipur SP OP Pal’s leave application to similar pressure, PCC spokesperson Sushil Anand Shukla said the ruling party had started exploiting government machinery to collect poll fund.
“The ruling party has given collection target to officials of all departments. It has realised that people will not give it mandate for third time due to its bad governance and grafts, hence it has decided to win Vidhan Sabha polls with money power,” he added.
