Former leader of opposition at Vidhan Sabha and senior Congress leader Mahendra Karma has suggested Chief Minister Raman Singh to refrain from giving threats to those who were pointing fingers towards him regarding mining scams and show courage by issuing high-level probe order into the entire matter to justify his stand.
“If the CM is being alleged that he has used his power and connections to help getting his kins an approval for illegal mining in Madhya Pradesh then he should deal the issue with composure and responsibility instead retorting in an intimidating manner. He has means to prove his point. A probe by any transparent agency can certainly help him come clean, if he really not guilty,” said Karma.
“The gradual unraveling of facts in state mining scams indicates that the BJP’s to leadership is deeply involved in it. From Bellary (Karnataka) to Chhattisgarh, the BJP is allegedly involved in large number of mining scams,” said Karma.
