The state president of Sindhi Council of India (SCI) and PCC general secretary Ramesh Warlyani along with ten members of the council left for Ahmadabad to attend three-day 18th International Sindhi Sammelan-2011 (ISS-2011) beginning from Thursday.
The ISS-2011 will be hosted by SCI in collaboration with Alliance of Sindhi Associations of American Incorporation, which has organised 17 ISS conferences in USA, UK, Mumbai, Singapore, Jakarta, Barbados etc, since 1992.
Warlyani informed that about 1500 Sindhi representatives from different parts of the world would participate in the programme.
He said several key decisions regarding Sindhi community would be taken in the conference besides discussion on global connectivity of Sindhis through media.
