The RMC on Thursday seized seven stray cattle at
Shankar Nagar for disrupting traffic in the area. The cattle (buffaloes)
belonged to Tandon dairy. Later, when the dairy owner assured the municipal in
written that he would not leave his cattle on streets in future, the RMC
official Abhash Mishra released all the cattle. The RMC Commissioner Taran Prakash
Sinha has categorically directed the officials to auction the stray cattle
after seizure to ensure smooth traffic in the city.
