Rs 55.44 lakh approved for 24 schools

The government has approved Rs 55.44 lakh to construct one room each in 24 middle schools for headmasters under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA). All the schools are located at Raipur. Each room would be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 2.31 lakh. The rooms would be constructed by Rural Engineering Services (RES) department. School Education Minister Brijmohan Agrawal has asked the agency to complete the work timely.
