Cong workers’ meet in four districts from Jan 3-6

Raipur, December 26, 2011

The Congress will organise workers’ meeting in four districts of the state in the first week of January 2012. The PCC president Nandkumar Patel has categorically said that the party would intensify its activities from the Day-one of the New Year. The meetings in all the districts would be attended by Patel along with CLP leader Ravindra Choubey, senior party leaders, legislators, state, district and block-level office-bearers of the party’s all morchas and cells and workers.
Elated by party’s performance in the state Assembly’s recently concluded winter session, Patel has asked the workers to not only gather issues against BJP government at local levels but also to increase the domain of Congress. The district-level meeting is one of the effective tool through which party’s senior leadership feels that workers get encouraged.
This time, the party has selected three newly formed districts among the total four where it will organise meetings. On January 3, the workers’ meeting will be held at new district Bemetara followed by meeting at another new district Balrampur on January 4, at Koria on January 5 and at new district Mungeli on January 6.
The media cell chairman Shailesh Nitin Trivedi informed that the party’s state office had started sending information regarding district-level meetings to the senior leaders and office-bearers of different morchas and cells from Monday.
