Congress demands sacking of BJP corporator


Raipur, December 13, 2011

The Congress has demanded from the government to sack RMC’s BJP corporator from Veer Sawarkar Nagar ward Manish Dhruv for his alleged involvement in corruption. In this connection, the members of Tatibandh Block Congress Committee (BCC) led by DCC Raipur city president Inderchand Dhariwal staged day-long dharna on Tuesday. Dhariwal said Dhruv was taking bribe amounting Rs 12000 every month from sanitary contractor of ward and was caught red handed recently. The Congmen who participated in the dharna were Tatibandh BCC president Avtar Singh, Pankaj Sharma, Sheikh Shakeel, Diwakar Awasthi, Shreekumar Menon, Poonam Singh, Puja Singh, Prakash Ramteke, Baljeet Bhuttar, etc.
