The Congress has
decided to boycott Health Minister Amar Agrawal during Assembly’s winter
session beginning Thursday. The decision has been taken in wake of Balod eye
amp incident followed by controversial statements given by Agrawal against the
eye victims. Sources informed that the CLP leader Ravindra Choubey and PCC
president Nandkumar Patel had obtained permission from high command to boycott
Agrawal. The party’s move is being interpreted as “tit for tat politics” since
the opposition led by BJP at Centre too is boycotting Union Home Minister P
Chidambaram during ongoing winter session of the Parliament for his alleged
link with 2G spectrum allocation scam.
