Cong makes slight change in district-level workers’ meet

Meetings to start from newly formed districts in north Chhattisgarh

Meeting in Bemetara to be held in next phase

Raipur, December 30, 2011 
The Congress has made slight change in its upcoming district-level workers’ meetings in the first week of January 2012. Earlier, the party was scheduled to hold workers’ meeting in four districts from January 3-6, but according to the new plan the meetings will conducted from January 4-6.
The party has also postponed meeting in newly formed district Bemetara and has decided to include the region in the next phase.
Now, the meetings will begin from new district formed in North Chhattisgarh Balrampur. The meeting will start at 11 am in this region on January 4. On the same day, another district-level workers’ meeting will be organised at Surajpur at 2 pm.
On January 5, meeting will be organised at Koria district while on the following day, the meeting will be held at Mungeli.
The meetings in all the districts would be attended by AICC general secretary and state Congress incharge BK Hariprasada, incharge secretary Bhakt Charandas, PCC president Nandkumar Patel, CLP leader Ravindra Choubey, deputy CLP leader Rampukar Singh, Chandrabhan Singh Barmate, Vedprakash Sharma, Dr Premsai Singh Tekam, Dr Shiv Kumar Daharia, senior party leaders, legislators along with state, district and block-level office-bearers of the party’s morchas and cells and workers.
