State Congress MLA and Pradesh Mahila Congress (PMC) president Ambika Markam attended seventh meeting of women speakers of parliament on gender sensitive parliaments at New Delhi
She was accompanied by Pratima Chandrakar, Saroja Manharan Rathore and Padma Ghanshyam Manhar as representatives of Chhattisgarh Vidhan Sabha.
The PMC secretary and spokesperson Nivedita Chaterjee informed that the participants discussed over women empowerment in politics and need to increase women participation.
