Senior Congress MLA Ajit Jogi on Friday said BJP president Nitin Gadkari must seriously consider his party MP and senior leader Ram Jethmalani’s advice and should step down immediately.
“Jethmalani, as a lawyer, knows beleaguered Gadkari can neither gainsay nor resist the allegations against him. In fact, the BJP chief too has not yet come up with strong rebuttal, an evident indicator of his deep involvement in corruption,” Jogi said.
“It is really surprising how Gadkari is speaking of curbing corruption in BJP-ruled states when he himself is tainted,” he added.
