NSUI alleges irregularities in DET recruitments

Raipur, October 16, 2012

Alleging of irregularities in recruitment procedures of trainee officers for vacant posts in government Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs), the NSUI members on Tuesday demonstrated aggressively at Government Engineering College (GEC) Sejbahar where Directorate of Employment and Training (DET) was holding interviews of the candidates.

The NSUI’s former state general secretary Amit Sharma said that despite admitting of irregularities in recruitment procedures the DET officials were conducting interviews.

“The DET shortlisted candidates ignoring all the norms and criteria set for selection and to avoid any resistance, it fixed GEC Sejbahar for interview,” Sharma charged.

“We also condemn the police action against use when we were demonstrating peacefully and democratically,” he said.

On the occasion, he was accompanied by Aziz Bhinsara, Akash Sharma, Bhavesh Shukla, Abhay Thakur, Vishnu Sharma, Dhananjay, Manish Dwivedi, Chandan Barik, Ashish Dwivedi, Ved Prakash Sahu, Saurabh Singh, etc.
