The YC members on Thursday demonstrated at RMC office holding the municipal authorities responsible for dejected condition of city roads. Later, they submitted a memorandum to RMC commissioner seeking quick repairing of damaged roads.
“We have persistently raised the issue of poor condition of roads but the municipal did not take initiative to maintain them on regular basis. We have given seven-day ultimatum to RMC commissioner to repair road or else we will gherao the residence of Urban Administration Minister Amar Agrawal,” said YC’s Raipur North general secretary Dilip Singh Chouhan.
On the occasion, he was accompanied by Mohammad Azhar, Sheikh Shakeel, Azhar Rahman, Rafeeque Goutiya, Bablu Raza,, Wasim Quasif, Chandrashekhar Tandon, Sushil Jangde, etc.
