Amit Jogi an established youth leader: Kukreja

Raipur, October 03, 2012

Countering attack on Amit Jogi by senior Congress leaders including Union Minister of State Charandas Mahant, CLP leader Ravindra Choubey, former PCC president Dhanendra Sahu and party general secretary Bhupesh Baghel, the YC’s Raipur North Vidhan Sabha president Sunil Kukreja on Wednesday termed him an established youth leader whose presence always strengthens Congress.

“Amit’s presence on stage should have cause envy in BJPians, but unfortunately, some of our own Congress leaders are questioning over his increased activities,” he said.

“The politics of these Congmen revolves around senior party leaders and they usually resort to hired people to display their might. The party leadership should immediately check such anti-Jogi remarks,” he said.

The YC presidents of different Vidhan Sabhas, in a written statement, said that Amit was touring in their assembly areas on their invitation.

“Amit is our leader and guide. He is a dedicated Congress worker and is continuously targeting state government on different issues by taking out padyatras and launching protest movements,” they said.

The YC presidents of different assembly areas who came to Amit’s rescue through written statement are Indrajeet Singh - Raipur South, Sushil Agrawal – Raipur West, Ashish Dubey – Raipur Rural, Neelkamal Gilhare – Abhanpur, Khilesh Dewangan – Arang, Ganesh Sahu – Balodabazar, Mukesh Bhardwaj – Dharsiva and Lalu Manikpuri – Bhatapara.
