The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) has demanded from the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) to quickly announce class 12th revaluation results. To protest the delay in declaration of the results, the NSUI members led by their state president Sanjeev Shukla on Wednesday sat on satyagrah before the CGBSE office and sang bhajans to awake the board officials.
Later Shukla alleged that the board was deliberately delaying the revaluation results because some of its officials wanted to make fast bucks through a hidden channel.
“The students whose results are pending would have to take provisional admission in colleges by paying fees. In private colleges, there is no provision of returning admission fees if any student either fails in class 12th after taking provisional admission or decides to leave the institution in the beginning of the academic session due to any reason. Since some of CGBSE officials have nexus with private colleges, they would get their share of money once any student fails,” Shukla said.
The NSUI warned the continuing its peaceful satyagrah if the board would further delay in announcement of the revaluation results.
On the occasion, Shukla was accompanied by Subodh Haritwal, Akash Sharma, Pradeep Sahu, Ravi Sen, Bhavesh Shukla, Tarun Soni, Ashish Dwivedi, etc.
