Patel’s two-day Bilaspur, Korba tour begins




Raipur, July 22, 2011

The PCC president Nandkumar Patel has commenced his two-day Bilaspur and Korba tour from Friday. He is accompanied by leader of the Opposition at state Assembly Ravindra Choubey. Earlier, he was scheduled to start his tour in the morning but due to arrival of Union Rural Development Minister Jairam Ramesh, his left the state capital late.

The duo will also attend a programme organised by Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Processing Dr Charandas Mahant at Korba in memory of his father late Bisahudas Mahant on Saturday.

The AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh, who was supposed to unveil the statue of Bisahudas Mahant, has reportedly cancelled his tour owing to some personal reasons.

Both Patel and Choubey will return Raipur on Saturday evening.
